Pokémon Happy Meals Are Back at McDonald’s on Nov. 10
Trainers, mark your calendars. Pokémon is coming back to McDonald’s Happy Meals in the US on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, for the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The promotion runs at participating restaurants through December 14, or while supplies last.
What’s in the Box
The big draw this year is a set of 15 mini Happy Meal boxes. Each one is designed after a fan-favorite Pokémon like Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Squirtle or Umbreon. They also do more than sit on a shelf: McDonald’s says the mini boxes turn into charms you can clip onto a keychain or backpack. And this is the first time in years the promotion has included real Pokémon toys, not just cards.
The Cards
Each Happy Meal comes with two random Pokémon TCG cards from a 15-card set, and seven of those cards are foil. Past McDonald’s sets have had special confetti-style holos you can only get from these promotions. That’s a big reason collectors line up for them.
McDonald’s hasn’t released the official card list yet. A leaked list going around online includes Pikachu, Lucario, Mimikyu, Jirachi, Tyranitar, Snorlax and Eevee, but it’s unconfirmed until the cards are in hand.
Bonus Fun
Scan the QR code on your Happy Meal box to play a digital game. In the game, you hunt for all 15 Pokémon toys hidden around a virtual classroom and playground.
Not in the US?
Canada gets the promo first, starting November 3, and Australia follows on November 5. More countries, including France, Spain and New Zealand, join in November. Other markets roll out through December and into January 2027.
Tips for Collectors
There are 15 toys and 15 cards spread over about five weeks, so finishing the set will take some luck, or some trading. Go early in the run, because popular toys tend to sell out first at busy locations. And check with your local restaurant, since not every location takes part.
