Topps Finest Formula 1 is back for the first time since its 2024 debut, and the next drop is November 19 on Topps’ EQL launch platform.
The Product
Hobby boxes are $289.99. Each one has 6 packs of 10 cards, with 1 relic or autographed relic per box. This year adds a new Super Rare tier to the Chrome base set, plus die-cut inserts, autographs and chase cards featuring current F1 drivers, F2 talent and legends. The checklist includes the new Cadillac team and rookie Arvid Lindblad.
The Pre-Order
Topps already ran a pre-order on EQL on October 27 at the same $289.99 price, with a limit of 5 boxes per person, and it sold out. That makes November 19 the next real shot for anyone who missed it.
Why It Sells Out
F1 cards have become one of the hottest corners of the hobby. The 2024 Finest F1 hobby box sold for about $250 to $280 at release and now resells for $500 to $900. 2026 Topps Chrome F1 hobby boxes went for $469.99. Its limited First Day Issue boxes opened at $2,000 in a Dutch auction and sold out at $1,600. At $289.99, Finest is one of the more affordable ways into premium F1 cards.
Bottom Line
If you want a box at retail, be ready on EQL on November 19. Otherwise, expect to pay a markup on the resale market.
